it doesnt feel like a weekend.

wah last night's dream was so fun la. dreamt of 2alt, haha!
haiyah...... . (i haiyah for no particular reason hah)
anw i realised the picture of the biscuit is disturbing. makes me feel like eating.

Once upon another time, in a forest, there lived 3 bears - Teddy bear, Papa bear and Gummi bear. They were very friendly and made friends with any animal in the forest! Then one day a girl came into the forest to gather berries. Gummi bear said "lets go and befriend her!" Teddy bear agreed. However, strangely, Papa bear didnt want to make friends with her. The other 2 bears were very shocked! They asked Papa bear why?! (and Im sure you also want to know.haha) It was because... long time ago, when Papa bear was just Baby bear, a girl name goldilocks invaded his house n ate up his papa n mama n his porridge, and worst, broke his FAVOURITE chair! He was very tramatised by it. poor Baby-now-Papa bear! Thus, until now, Papa bear doesn't like humans, esp. little girls. Mystery solved! THE END. thankyou for reading!

bet no one knows what im calculating but i dont care. hah. can't believe it, my stomach is full of marie alr and i cant stand myself becoz i just keep going on and on.. not as if its very nice but i still keep eating it. TSK me.

do you still love the game?

.. look past everything, the nuances.. what you hate about..
despite everything.. at the end of the day it is STILL about the game.
it may be harder, but if you still have the passion you will still play it your way
.. you'll never know, you can start to pass this spirit on ..
.. don't inch away, spread the passion.
passion is addictive and contagious

...do you still love the game?

i was chatting online to my senior (the one whose old locker used to be frequent by a green monster! haha) this afternoon and what she said made me think. or rather, to rethink.
like i said before, football in uni was shockingly different from what i knew football was. with each training/match, i found it more difficult to enjoy it. and now that training has ceased temporarily since the league ended, i have had a good mind to stop going..
but now, i'm not too sure if it's the way to go about it.

i really loved football the way i knew it was: play because you love it.
and things are different now, but how much do i enjoy playing the game? because ultimately, when i play football, it is still football.. it's the same game.
whatever that is thrown at me, do i still believe in and insist playing the beautiful game..?

somehow.. i think it has lead me to draw parallels to God's greater purpose and vision for us..
a few days ago for QT i was reminded that the place for service is not on the mountaintop of splendor and glory, but in the valley of reality.
in the valley, there will be hardship and obstacles that will distract you and make you lose focus. yet through it all, the purpose remains the same, the pushing factor for everything, whether on the mountain or in the valley, is the same - for the love of God and His people.

definitely, it is much more difficult.. but God empowers. so it is with faith and perseverance, you can still realize the vision. don't give up on serving God. instead, with the power that you received from the mountaintop, bring it down to the valley, and God will do the rest.
as long as you love the Lord.
