out with red, in with blue
im so full now haha donno why i was so thirsty throughout the day, then kept drinking alot.. so now im so bloated lol.
was late for service today! aggh so sad. just broke my new year resolution in less than a month :/
anw aft cluster lunch at guanwei's place i left to play bball!! with mich val yujia n her cell friends.
except, we DIDNT get to play at all. because it rained. HAH.
so end up we went to ntu foodcourt to hang ard n play cards. haha played bluff and it was sooo funny!! haha it was cheek muscles and abs building session la!
and on the way back, walking to the bus stop.. it was still raining n there was no shelter. so yujia with her sole umbrella said she'll ferry us one by one. but then e bus came alr, so when she was halfway sheltering mich, val n i just ran in e rain, laughed all the way pass e two retards to the busstop.
meanwhile, michelle leong was complaining abt sth.. so yujia tot she wasnt sheltered enough n sacrificed herself being wet to 'protect' mich from e rain. and wat does mich complain abt??

in the end, everyone got onto the bus wet and laughing very hard. haha!
aft tt ice cream at jurong pt. wow ive been eating icecream almost everyday la. hahaha YUM :P
anw, i think im super HIP now. today marked my first day using bluetooth! i have send photos to many many pple through bluetooth today! no more infra-red le, im so cOoL.
i want to play bball next week!! hope i can make it. hahaa.

it's been more than a week since i'm awake pass midnight! have been sleeping at ard 10plus everyday coz the next day i wld always have to wake up early for serve. lol
ah leong n abiboy brought us to their schl for dinner today, my first time in ngee ann poly! haha. and mich brought us to see yi long - LIVE VIEW, finally! yes FINALLY!! aft one thousand million years! heehee
aft tt me n abi waited for ONE whole hour for 74 to come to go to church.. we were alr late and the bus took super duper long to come tt i tot it stopped service for the day la
so end up reached church at 930 when we cld be there at 830. argh.
we felt extremely bad, it appeared like even as understudy we not serious abt practice at all. so we dint dare to go in and sat outside bethel.. then michele came, and a few others who were inside came out
they asked us why we were not inside n why we were late.. told them abt the bus and how we were too "paiseh" to go in.. but it seemed like a really, really REALLY bad excuse. boo. :(
then gaius said we shld haf at least told june we were gg to be late from the start n was wat tt actually mattered. argh. hopefully ill rmbr tt next time....
but anw while waiting for e bus, and sitting outside bethel waiting for them to finish so tt we cld apologise, talked abt lot alot alot of things with abi (until my throat so dry now, hahaa)
was a very nice chat, glad we did :P
and.. when i was gg home alr, smart isabel said i can get a cab-lift from her. so i missed my 74 bus home and walked to e main road w her.. where we found out it's not on the way.
so i walked to e SP bus stop.. and waited quite long for 74. wanted to check the bus guide to see if i was waiting for air or wat, until i ALMOST missed a 74 zooming by.
good thing the driver saw me la.. a very good thing actually. haha. coz when i alighted the bus, i checked the bus guide for fun.

its been a week of serve!
interesting lectures, and i actually cant wait to know and understand more. :P
GG's also an enthu bunch, which makes serve quite fun as well.
GG is my grp name, and its NOT good game. its God's Gang! we have slogans too!
ill talk more abt serve later down the road, hehe.
just had revamp camp comm 06 lunch at delci's place.
it was supposed to be beach theme but i didnt know! didnt read emails properly heh.
anw chris and sk (ESPECIALLY chris) helped to make it really quite Beach-y so i guess it was fine. HAHA
had a great time play WII!! and watching others play wii. haha! my first time playing and oh man it was hilarious - the games were soooo funny!! and wii sports CAN produce sweat.
btw, my sports age is 49. boooo. at least its not 80 (tt's the worst) haha

yep, so another busy week going by, and im glad God was (and will continue to be) with me. through serve sessions, worship prac/worship, service and cell, meals/games/sleepover with frens.. and just everything.

wow its already one week into the new year! and all the first days of a week has passed!
so a not-at-all-quick recap, its been a pretty busy but great week:P
*ultra long post*
tues - the new year started with val and our 5hour walk home. had a nice time chatting, laughing, taking photos, singing, creating actions for 'bad day' by the chipmunks, and trying to figure out where in e world were we. haha. created 3 songs!
when we were

these are the legs that step and move, and they nv stop their groove

i like how the step-move-groove works for our poor tired legs!
wed- baking/cooking/making our very own 7-course meal for our picnic! yj, me and val did it while the rest had schl or work.. then yes our wonderful botanic gardens picnic! hahaa loved it alot alot alot x 943280943809893! hehe. including aa's stupid statements n bullying like "i dont want to talk to you anymore, pass the phone to michelle"
thurs - dinner with ceadrea, did quite alot of catching up with her! chatting while eating and walking.. i like. :P and then high-class supper w parents n ceadrea
fri - went to aa's hse to eat her famous indo-mee! hahaa. tt's like our fav thing to do at her hse. altho i ate it with water coz i forgot to say i din want it dry. haha. then watched white chicks (YUCKS, dont like it) n played Hoopla some board game of mine!
super funny with yujia's drawing, val's dog-catcher, and the classic BREAKDANCE of aa's. haha!

sat - cycling in the morn. cycled to bukit batok ist, and i tell u its not called BUKIT batok for no reason. ups and downs, whooaa. then met val n we cycled to holland v to haf BK breakfast and cold rock icecream w aa yj n hy.
anw sry val, your bike was really very horrible to cycle on but i cycled so fast coz i was in a rush, really feel very bad. :/
then lunch w josh at cafe orient to talk abt the to-be heartbeat running team! exciting!
and HOHO. my "HK BBQ sliced pork" turned out to be simply char siew. i was stunned!
cheater bugger, make the name so classy turn out to be like THAT. haha.
n in the evening 4c3 class dinner at glass house! so good to see each other again aft so looonng. great time catching up and laughing and photo-taking.
altho i really felt SO BAD for the fish n co pple. we anyhow say it was ms karen tan n melissa's bday so tt they can be embarrassed, but i felt so bad coz e staff gave them free sparklers, icecream w candle, and sang out loud bday songs for them! somemore they exclaimed it was not their bday, but everything was prepared alr so they just went aheard. i wanted to cower in a corner n faint.
sun - YES i was on time for service!! i must MUST keep this up. haha. just sharing and talking during cell was really nice and encouraging, and altho i donno whats in store for me this year, im sure thro it God will be working. im so glad for my cell!!
tennis with ceadrea aft tt! i like tennis w ceadrea. hahaha.
then HAPPY BDAY ZAZOE! my sister's bday, we went to SENSO at club street for dinner. nice but freezing place. i think i got full on the bread they were serving. heehee.
mon - SERVE. yea, first day of serve! more of intro and stuff. and at ist i was quite sad/scared coz i THOUGHT i was the only one from sjsm. but lo-and-behold, when i was on the bus there, i found out chris was gg too! whoa i was super super thankful and happy, if not ill be lonelygirl@hotmail.com. hahhaa. but the next few days and all wld be getting to know my grp n new frens. feels like camp. making new frens at the start is ALWAYS a difficult step. hah.
but after today i feel more excited about serve in the next two months!
oh yes. when i just boarded the bus, i realised i forgot to bring my ezlink card! and i only had a $5 note with me. so i asked a few pple sitting at the front if they had change, but none of them had $5 change! only a few coins here and there. i was sooo scared!!! die la, i was thinking.
BUT then one of e guys just said casually "why don't i just give u the coins la". then before i cld react, another stranger said "ya". i was like WOWWWW. they were super duper nice!
i collected like $1.50 from the strangers n paid for my fare
i am eternally grateful!

just came back from supper at dempsey. some restaurant called Oosh, great ambience! (i really wanted to fall asleep there la haha)
n quite cute, the toilets are named Moosh and Woosh for men n women respectively.
dinner w ceadrea at holland v's sushi tei, then we walked to church to meet mom n dad.
seems like walking is fast becoming my pastime. haha.
ytd had picnic at bontanic! (oh man it rhymes! shakespear over here! - and this rhymes too! WHOA talent eh, noelle)
yep aa's back, and she nv fails to humour us. :P was a fun day!
too lazy and tired to update, yujia has it all in her blog anw. hehe.
ahh super tired alr. tmr gg to aa's hse. weee cant wait! haha.
anw, i guess ive decided to go for serve. hmmm.

my first post of 2008!
last year really ended off in a high note.
the philippines mission trip, HIGHER youth camp, convenant service.
im so very thankful God has reassured me of His agape love, and brought me into a deeper level of faith.
i really hope and want to carry this through the whole of 2008, and keep my promises to God!
its not going to be easy but anything is possible with God :P
last night i shared my testimony on God's goodness in the past year and oh boy was i SUPER nervous! vicky asked me only the day before and i guess it was really a step of faith.
i went up there and said and did stupid things tt totally gave away my nervousness.
1. repeating my name RIGHT after they mentioned my name alr. "I am Noelle, like he said"
2. the super obvious trembling of my hand as i held my script
3. kicking imaginary soccer balls while talking
and worst of all,
4. stopped halfway to ask if i shld "continue coz it's very long alr". i tot i was asking DISCREETLY, but no, the whole congregation could hear coz of the very sensitive microphone.
how embarrassing!!
BUT.. im SO thankful that despite all these lame acts of mine, people were thanking me for sharing and i guess they could tell that God was really at work in my life, whether in the ups or the downs.
yeah and aft went c h - -a sin -g fireworks!
it was quite exciting hahaha coz at ist we were so sad. when 12midnight struck, we cld only HEAR fireworks.
then we looked up in the sky and saw only the REFLECTED LIGHTS of the fireworks.
disappointed, we started to walk down.. when, from the side of this tall building we saw the END SPARKS of fireworks!
oh man we got super excited, val said the fireworks will last for 8mins so we had time to catch it properly!
waited anxiously for the green man and we dashed across the road, pass a street to FINALLY see the fireworks proper!
but we dint get a very good view as we dint have enough time to run further down to catch a better and more clear view.
oh well, my first time seeing fireworks on New Year's Day, i think! haha.
after that walked all the way home from clarke quay/raffles place. 1230am - 530am! long story, another time. :P
PS: HIGHER youth camp was really really GREAT. but it shall not end there.
