ytd had lunch w val n yujia, then watched alvin and e chipmunks w val hweeyi n denise (GOOD SHOW! hahaha they are so cute they play and cool when they dance)
haha then mich joined as n we went shopping.
i was quite moody coz i cant find wat to get (christmas shopping), had a whole lot of numbers to call for youth camp (no one was picking up), and my nose was killing me.
haha. and dear valerie was rushing us off to clarke quay for no reason. no reason to me, THEN.
BUT LATER...
on the way to clarke quay we invented 12 days of christmas new version, mostly becoz ahleong just couldnt catch the real lyrics, haha! complete w actions somemore.
so we were just walking, following valerie. lalalaa...
then. "eh look, that's thomas"
i was O.O before i can properly absorb everything - there i was, thomas on my right, valerie on my left, ready to get blasted up like a catapult.
AND WE LIVED THROUGH THE REVERSE BUNGEE G-MAX!!

yes i know this is my third post of the day but! i cant resist! hahaha i want to thank everyone for a really ultra wonderful 18th birthday! (or more like even the days after my birthday!)

aft service today i was blindfolded, n had nailpolish put on me (did a HORRENDOUS JOB haha but also coz i kept moving), polo sweets in water, drink plum juice in 18secs, and the failed attempt at lipstick on me. thank God for my good old muscles strong enough to fight back! haha and the fruit cake.
and of coz those tt msg me (you know who you are!) even tho i was in foreign land philippines, you made me feel remembered. haha :P
yes thanks alot i really felt ultra SUPER special, especially when my bday is over by 1 and 2 days, or when i only got to know uall for only a month or so.
hahah i really don deserve all these, but i truly and gratefully thank you all for EVERYTHING. thanks if YOU are reading this!

back from philippines, and it was AMAZING.
sorry for the lack of vocab there, but it was really amazing.
God really moved, not in explicit ways, but in subltle ones.
I had little to offer, but He made FULL use of it
went there with fear, doubt, feeling unprepared and not totally ready, yet the people in the slums were so touched by our coming down all the way.
the food we gave, the songs we taught them, the balloons and face painting were just a small part of what they appreciated. i think it was really the heart and the love for them tt they were moved by. and not of my own (for i dont think i could do so by myself), but of God's.
and, while we went there to bless, we got blessed too. the friendliness of the people, especially the people at YWAM dagupan, really warmed my heart. and the actions of the people in the slums caring for our cleaniness (like cleaning the seat for us!) was really humbling.
oh man there are so many things to say and praise God that i dont know how to continue! haha.
maybe ill do a day-by-day post some other time SOON. hahaa.
but for now.. thanks elaine sk isabel rachel natasha sophia for the surprise on the plane!! :P

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we have a special announcement going out to Miss Noelle Teh who is on this flight, whose birthday is today. On behalf of the captain and the rest of the crew, we wish you a happy birthday."
Noelle is in utter shock, and half of the all the passengers in the small budget airplane turned behind, clapped n wished her happy birthday
A smoking (the dry ice effect) icing and cream cake with was presented to Noelle!
i felt like a celebrity really! thanks sooo much hahah it was a wonderful surprise. and so sorry i had to drop the cake into the sink! was pouring away the water then the cake fell into the pool of soapy water. hahah. oops.

or more like one night more. haha.
this trip will be a first for many things. im not that excited like how everyone else appears to be. hmmm. feel quite lousy but i know this trip isnt exactly abt me anw.
really thanks alot alot 432839084208 times, those who wish me well for the trip!
and chiew yes cable car ride! i really wanted to sit on it (you all said wait for my bday hahah!) altho cannot le, but since we (or i) have been waiting so looonnnnngggg alr, waiting awhile more wont hurt i guess. haha.
went cycling today!
pasir ris --> changi --> east coast --> bedok --> tampines --> pasir ris
from abt 11am to almost 5pm
the weather in the east was SUPER hot, like me. i heard it rained elsewhere
Noelle-The-WESTerner didnt really know where she was gg, so she just followed Kenwee-From-The-East around.
saw alot of planes flying overhead, (which until now i think is really cool, i like to watch!)
saw this BIG sandcastle, (inspiration to build nicer ones too next time)
and saw alot alot of unfamiliar places. haha.
oh n we went to some fish farm on e way back. there was this fish which was really huge! confirm more than 1 metre, sure can feed alot of pple if the fish was for eating!
i attempted to follow kenwee putting his finger into the water and let the toothless fish nibble, except i didnt dare to do the latter.
donno why. haha fish is not my thing anw. hahahaha
and, the outcome of 6hours of cycling under the hot sun?
a sore butt, aching thighs,
and a brillant colour on my face which definitely looks better on a traffic light.
so excuse me while i go slab MORE aloe vera on my face.

yeah that's a countdown - to philippines. haha, i dont really know what to expect.
i guess just let God moooveee.. ? haha.
ytd had e last team meeting. packed tonnes n tonnes of clothes the whole morning. haha. the testimonies shared were really good. gets me thinking. haha.
n i keep getting lost. took the wrong bus la. good thing sk was driving n he cld fetch me there. if not ill be lateR. lol
speaking of getting lost - me n val cldnt find ML's office. so we went searching floor by floor n val cld happily leave me behind while i ran out of e lift to go find. end up had to call chris for e location. which was quite dumb coz i was the one who gave it to him at e first place la! diaooo.
and we were number ONE. aft knowing where it was (level 29), we entered the lift. a lady was in there alr. we stared at the lift buttons. doors started to close. there was no 29 on the lift button. doors closed. quickly, i stretched out my hand n punched 'OPEN'. doors opened n we walked out briskly, never ever to see the lady again. headed straight to the stairs. a much safer facility. :)
played soccer at st wilfrid's in e evening. old time popular training location haha.
there's still weird-ness n lousy-ness playing w the guys. doubt will be playing w them again! lol
me yj n val only displayed our superb soccer skills in the toilet. haha!
anw st wilfrid still rockks. those black 'seeds' on the field were great weapons of irritation aft training, n acted as paint for drawing on the ground. hahaah those were the days.
oh and kenzo climbed up on e sofa bed to sleep with me (and dad) again last night!! hahah he did it the previous night as well but i wasnt fully aware. so last night i was subconciously preparing for kenzo to climb up again (becoz i like!) i think i made space for him, and shielded him from my dad's notice. but he was discovered in e morn anw, got scolded by my mom. lol
kenzo's acting more than naughty these days.. hmmmm.
i need to go pack my bag for the trip. shall be a minimalist. HAHA.

home. again! missed familiar faces, familiar places, kenzo, and everything at home. mom n dad coming home later!
donno wat it's about that i miss but i just cant wait! haha
feel so unprepared. and there are rushing decisions to make.. RAR
getting frustrated. dont want to do anything. lol. blah blah rattle on noelle teh..
yeah anw on sat got to zhien's grandma's place late, and pretty much shagged. ate, stoned (or secretly tried to keep myself awake), then watched e manu match. missed e ist 40mins coz i was on e phone but i dint miss any goals. haha. aft tt was too tired, there was e liverpool match but i fell asleep on some really comfortable chair. the rest were playing pool n pictionary i think, while i was the lame monument/statue. then while in my semi-conciousness they asked me to sleep on e couch. and ta-da! next morning alr. hah. i was such a spoiler.
woke up and ate brunch.. then played charades with pictionary words. haha quite funny. e j1s left coz next day they had a match then e rest of us (the ppg gang) played pool.. which turned into a dancing session (?!?!?) coz we played Westlife songs in e background, and holding the cues just prompted us to use them as microphones. lol
"NO NO, NO NO, i dont..." my favourite westlifesong. HAHA. coz they are calling me. actually not really, thats coz its e only lyrics that i can catch.
slacked in e basement pretty much the whole time after ailin left.. zee was not feeling well so she slept.. then me jer n zhien watched some dectective show Lost Behind Bars, and soaked our legs into the (swimming) pool for a verrryyy short while due to the rain chasing us away.
more pool aft tt.. and played some points system game tt we invented. i was NUMERO UNO. kept winning until they dont want to play. hahahaha i rockkk.
slept at ard 12 plus 1, aft watching arsenal play a lousy match. this morn went to watch e juniors play friendly w srjc.. was a good game. haha. then headed home.
home sweet home. :)
ill hafta snap out of my all playing no thinking mood. soon. real soon argh.

wasnt really what i expected (due to rainy season) but enjoyed it anw
Beach/Buggy - highlights of e trip! lol the beach waves were splendid, and e sand was so fine, tt when e wind blows 'stray' sand kinda bites your skin. yj me n val built a sandcastle which later became a sand chair! lol. body surfing was really fun, altho it was really tiring to fight against e waves then ride on e waves back to shore n fight waves again. but fun! haha. and i 'saved' this girl whose board got loose from her hand.
got to drive e buggy! don need to learn driving alr hahahahaa. yujia's dad taught us n we drove safely, unlike most of e guys who were crazy drivers
Insanity - yes the guys were insane la! haha crazy buggy drivers who according to yj's dad "dont know e meaning of brakes". and they cant cook for nuts. not even washing up haha. good thing there was val (and me n yj).
there's e drunk part which i shall not go into detail (quite funny n frightening at e same time haha), n alot of weird things they say to shopkeepers, drivers, and so forth. lol but it was fun la laughed alot - esp val w her laughter. :P
Nice scenery! - the stars at night whoaa beautiful man! e stars just covered e whole sky so nice! haha n somemore e wind was just blowing against us (felt like titantic!!) - wonderful!
n yeah e sea which i think its really cool coz it has different shades of blue. super nice God's creation woohoo
Town - i forgot e name of e place. took a loooonnnngg ride all e way to town (altho there was quite a nice sight, those kampongs and all, unitl it got too dark n i fell aslp) when we got there, e shopping centre was horrors of horrors! charlie's chicken, equal to kfc in its style/looks, but 394385458045 times lower in standard. we were all shocked beyond belief at their food, esp the fish and chips. HAHA. played e number game n yujia is number one loser! joking..
then we went to some massage place, me n val did foot reflexology while e rest did massage. wahh e guys made so much noise la haha! n e foot reflexology for me had 3 parts: painful, ticklish, and uncomfortable. but e after effect was not bad so ya.
trip back was just mad singing / shouting. oh n e roads were pitch dark, e headlights were e only source of light. so scary. lol
Aria Bupala - the name of e vessel which we took on e way there. sat on e upper deck and like 448589348394 million pple puked. hahha no, but really alot of pple did. one after another coz e ride was like "prolong amusement park ride". one hour of seeing, hearing, and smelling puke. but our table had no casualities coz there was this brave little boy who dint, what more us 18 year olds! haha.
but on the ride back it was good and smooth. lol can eat alot, go toilet (and had an embarassing situation), walk around, look outside e window, and chat. then aft tt the captain allowed us to enter e cockpit! or whatever its called for a ship. lol.
Nothing else much - coz it rained soo much! and e strong waves disallowed bananaboating, canoeing all those stuff. just e body surfing. so we ended up playing laser quest, but it was really fun too! haha can sweat also good exercise too. watched alot of cartoon network (coz there was no disney) also.. played abit of table tennis.. lazed ard n all indoors coz of e rain. but actually lazing ard was really nice hahaha no rush anywhere, no back-to-back schedules. niceee. :P
yeah roughly tt's abt it, managed to play abit of soccer in e night too n went to some place out of e resort for dinner - pasar oleh oleh i think. haha bintan was sooo relaxed. and it was fun!
went to some places of e design fest w sam chiew n sub today. n before bintan e architour. i like! haha will talk more abt it another time. long day today, and tmr too.
